The top 2 are going blow for blow, who will start the home stretch with their nose in front? Bring on Geelong v Collingwood!

Market Talk

Second year players were the toast of the week following the weekend’s round of matches. North Melbourne’s Samuel Wright and Melbourne’s Rohan Bail each helping their respective team’s push for the final 8 posted this week’s biggest gains. Third gamer Port Adelaide’s Andrew Moore with small forward North Melbourne’s Lindsay Thomas and the disappointing Brisbane flop Brendan Fevola were this week’s biggest losers. Fevola’s share price has fallen by over 90% since the start of the 2010 season.

The battle for the top 4 has seen Collingwood and Fremantle turn it on with massive victories over their respective arch rivals. The wins have seen both clubs post the biggest gains for the round. The biggest losers tag went to St Kilda and Adelaide which lost games they should have won and now look very shaky coming up to the last 4 games of the year.
